About Perle
Perle Systems are a leading provider of Networking products for IP and
E Business access. The Networking solutions meet the needs of remote and
mobile workers, whilst the e business remote access solutions are available
for Unix/Linux NT and AS/400 users. Perle have recently added Chase and
Specialix server connectivity solutions to their portfolio, along with Zeta
routing and Voice over IP solutions.
Perle have now developed their
remote access products as an alternative to Shiva LanRover and Cisco Remote
Access Servers. They achieve this by having duplicate compatible models in the
Cisco remote access server environment, building upon existing Cisco
interoperability, filling gaps in the Cisco Access server line with Cisco IOS
compatible Remote Access Services products, offering cost effective
alternatives to Cisco and a better alternative to Shiva Lan Rover and 3COM.
When Perle talk about a compatible Cisco Access Server, they ensure that it
has the following features. An equivalent feature set for Remote Access
applications, is interoperable with other applicable Cisco IOS products such
as the Cisco Routers, can be configured and managed as an equivalent cisco
product using cisco IOS familiar commands, a commitment to follow Cisco IOS
internetworking standards.
Perle is the only real alternative for those who are looking to replace
old Shiva Lanrover Kit, and as a more cost effective alternative to Cisco. Click
here for a product comparison table to find out which Perle Router can
replace or is compatible with your existing router, or replaces redundant
products.

is a multi-protocol remote access solution ideally suited to meet the dial
access needs of both ISPs and Cisco network-based enterprise users. It
provides scalable dial-in, dial-out modem pooling and LAN-to-LAN
connectivity for up to 96 (T1/PRI) or 120 (E1/PRI) simultaneous
connections of remote analog, 56Kbps - V.90, V.34 and ISDN BRI
users. |
| |
|
| Perle 833 IS |
The Perle 833IS
is a complete, integrated and scalable solution for Cisco network-based
enterprises that require access to corporate LAN resources across 56
Kbps-V.90, V.34 analog or ISDN connections. It provides users with
high-density, enterprise level functionality at an entry-level price and a
lower total cost of ownership. |
